What is Illustrator?
Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphics editor that can be used for a variety of things such as logos, graphics, cartoons, and vinyls. Illustrator can also be used to turn raster images into vector images. Raster images are made of lots of pixels, whereas vector images are shapes with anchor points in order to retain the original shape.

How to Use the Laser
1. Prepare your file for the laser. Select the print icon and then choose the laser as the printer.
2. Measure the thickness of the material you are using with the caliper and enter in the number.
3. Open the laser cutting software and turn on the laser.
4. Switch on the exhaust.
5. Line up your material with an edge of the laser and use the focus tool to move the laser to your material.
6. Use the relocation tool to match the corner to the design.
7. Use the focus tool again to check that the laser won't go off of your material.
8. Press the play button.

Applying a Vinyl Decal
1. Peel away the colored vinyl from your design
2. Use a dental tool to get the excess from the insides of letters or any tricky places.
3. Apply transfer tape to the decal and use a scraping tool to press it on firmly
4. Carefully peel back the tape, revealing your final decal.
